Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) in Kano on Monday, July 25, 2022 has sworn in over 500 new students for the 2021/2022 school year.
Kidididdiga shows that MAAUN Kano is one of the 111 private universities in Nigeria that started their studies with almost one thousand students at the same time.
In his speech, the head of MAAUN Kano University, Professor (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, said the conference was very important, because the swearing in ceremony shows that students who graduated from the university have officially joined the programme according to the approval of the government. “Ula and National Universities (NUC)”.
“I proudly welcome all students to the university, I believe God will use this university to promote and develop you in all aspects of life.”
“Congratulations to your parents on the big role they are playing in your life, I pray that their efforts go in vain,” said President MAAAUN.
The president said Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria is teaching business values to students, insisting that the education system at the university involves business and self-reliance.
“So graduates of this university won’t be on the list of job seekers in this country, they’ll be graduates and frontlines in business in the next few years,” says Professor I I’m so proud of you.
According to him, MAAUN Kano is a university that concerns students because it is a place that can change future leaders.
“We are proud to train students in educational services.” “We focus on developing the character of our students in the expectation that when they graduate, they will make meaningful contributions to information development worldwide,” he said.
The head, who congratulated the new students for their graduation after their exams and exams, advised them to emulate their teachers by showing discipline and relieving their responsibility.
He also warned students who were sworn to follow University principles and to have good character and dress with dignity.
In her speech, the commissioner of education in Kano state, Dr. Mariya Bunkure advised students who were sworn to focus on their studies, considering the amount of money their parents paid to study in the university.
Bunkure, who is also a member of the administration of the University, has warned students to avoid doing anything that could spoil their name and that of the university.
She praised the founder of the university, Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo for establishment of the university which is one of the best in this country.
