To be considered for admission to MAAUN, students must have a minimum Jamb score of 160 or the JAMB’s yearly official cut-off score.

Five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics, on no more than two SSCE sittings, or an equivalent from a country that requires other forms of exit exams or standardized tests, are also necessary for admissions consideration. If there are any exceptions, they are made on a case-by-case basis.

The minimum entry requirements for Engineering and Technology disciplines are credit passes in five courses, including Mathematics, English Language, Physics, and Chemistry, at the Senior Secondary School final year test or GCE ‘O’ Level.

Candidates must also have received a satisfactory UTME score. Candidates with credit levels in Further Mathematics and Technical Drawing are also preferred. Candidates who fit this description will have an edge.

Admission to the University is not guaranteed if you have the above scores and grades. The qualifications listed above will only qualify you for entrance consideration, not approval. The applications of students are rigorously evaluated, and only those with the greatest scores and qualifications in the applicant pool are admitted.

The key components in the decision include JAMB scores, WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, IGCSE, and SS1, SS2, and SS3 transcripts, which assess an applicant’s total performance.
