Baba Mastnath University, India in Collaboration with Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria has organized a one month International Short Term Program on Research and Publication Ethics.
The 30- day program which started from 16th September to 16th October, 2024 featured four paper presentations from MAAUN.
The four distinguished Faculty members who presented the papers were Mr. Hamisu Najume Musa (Writing of Manuscript Publication) and Ms Maimunat Aliyu Abubakar (Writing of a Research Proposal).
Others were Mr. Hamza Sabo Muhammad (Journal Finder/ Journal Suggestion Tools viz: Jane, Elsevier Journal Finder, Springer suggested) and Mubarak Kabir Kankara (AI Based Tools Application in Creating Animated Content).
In his remark at the closing session, the President of MAAUN, Prof.(Dr.) Mohammad Israr described the program as “an enriching experience for both faculty members and students of the university.
He appreciated the four staff members from MAAUN, who took the time to participate in the lecture series.
“Your expertise and insights were invaluable, and we appreciate the effort you put into making the program a success,” he said.
Prof. Israr said MAAUN is open to further collaboration and looks forward to continuing with the partnership in the future.
Also in his remark, the Vice Chancellor of BMU, Prof.(Dr.) H.L Verma thanked the management of MAAUN for partnering with BMU and the faculty members for taking their time to participate in the program.
Prof. Verma, who stressed the importance of quality research, expressed hope that the two universities would ensure the sustenance of the program to promote teaching and learning in the institutions.
