AISD MAAUN, Dangote Foundation to forge partnership on Human, Community Development

The African Institute for Solutions and Development at Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (AISD-MAAUN) is teaming up with the Aliko Dangote Foundation (ADF) to make life better for vulnerable people and communities in Nigeria.

Recently, leaders from AISD-MAAUN visited the ADF headquarters in Lagos to discuss how they can work together on new projects.

The team included the university’s President, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, and the AISD Executive Director, Dr. Salisu Mohammed.

During the visit, AISD-MAAUN engaged with ADF leadership, including Managing Director/CEO Ms. Zouera Yousufu, Director of Strategy, Mr. Zakari Mamodou, and Business Development Specialist, Ms. Chioma.

The discussions centered on leveraging combined resources and expertise to implement sustainable development programs across Nigeria’s diverse regions.

Both parties expressed enthusiasm about working together to create impactful programs that empower vulnerable communities and advance educational opportunities for communities in Nigeria.

The meeting served as a milestone for the two organizations as they gave assurance of their commitment to creating programs that not only support Nigeria but also benefit other parts of Africa, giving more people the chance for a better life.
