MAAUN deepens ties with Indian, Pakistani Muslim Communities during Eid-el-Fitr

Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) on Saturday hosted the Indian and Pakistani Muslim Associations at a grand ceremony as part of activities marking the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

The event, held at the Ibrahim Usman Yakasai Sports Complex, was attended by members of the associations, including men, women, and children.

In his opening remarks, the President of MAAUN, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, appreciated the leadership of the associations for gracing the occasion.

He expressed the university’s readiness to partner with the associations in areas that would be beneficial to both parties.

According to him, MAAUN, being the second-best private university, will continue to support the promotion of education in Nigeria and beyond.

In their separate remarks, the leaders of the associations thanked the Founder of the university, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, for his unwavering commitment to providing quality education.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of souvenirs to both Prof. Gwarzo and Prof. Israr.
