As part of its ongoing institutional visits, the delegation from Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria–Africa Institute for Solutions and Development (MAAUN-AISD) and Franco-British International University (FBIU) on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the Kaduna State Media Corporation (KSMC).
The visit aimed to explore areas of partnership and strengthen advocacy efforts.
The team, led by the President of MAAUN, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, said the visit also aimed to foster the corporation’s support in driving advocacy programmes designed to address pressing societal issues.
Prof. Israr described KSMC as a vital platform and “the voice of the voiceless,” noting its strategic role in promoting awareness and advancing developmental initiatives within Kaduna State and beyond.
He emphasized the importance of media partnership in amplifying impactful programmes and reaching wider audiences.
In his response, the Executive Director, Television Services, KSMC, Malam Zakari Aliyu Ahmed, applauded the delegation for what he termed a proactive and commendable step toward tackling societal challenges confronting the region and the nation.
He further stated that KSMC remains open to collaboration, describing the corporation as a home for stakeholders committed to the growth and development of Kaduna State in particular and Nigeria as a whole.
Among the management staff of MAAUN Group that were in the delegation included President of FBIU, Prof. Abdullahi Muhammad Sabo and Executive Director of AISD, Dr. Salisu Mohammed among others.
