MAAUN–AISD proudly participated in the official launch of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence held today in Maiduguri, Borno State. The global campaign brings together government leaders, development partners, civil society, and community groups to advocate for gender equality and end violence against women and girls.
The AISD/MAAUN team joined other stakeholders in reaffirming their commitment to awareness creation, community engagement, and strengthened protection for women and girls across Borno State.
As part of its support to the event, AISD/MAAUN provided 100 units of refreshment to participants and officials demonstrating the institution’s dedication to community-focused initiatives and inclusive program delivery.
MAAUN–AISD remains committed to promoting empowerment, social development, and safer communities for all.
Civil servants from key ministries gained ICT skills to improve service delivery, while host community members acquired Tailoring and Fashion Design skills for sustainable livelihoods. The event was graced by AISD staff from Kano, partner NGOs, government dignitaries, and religious leaders.
