Today, as Nigeria marks Democracy Day, we are reminded of the enduring strength of unity, participation, and the collective pursuit of a better tomorrow.

Democracy is more than a system of governance — it is a living commitment to justice, inclusion, and opportunity for all. At Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, we strive to uphold these principles daily.
