The Management of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria has commiserated with Prof. Abubakar Aminu Mu’azu of the School of Computing over the passing of his beloved mother, Haj Binta Aminu Muazu.
In a condolence message signed by the Acting President of the University, Prof. Ahmed Maigari Ibrahim, the MAAUN community expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Haj Binta.
The statement described her death as a great loss not only to her immediate family but also to all who knew her.
The deceased passed away in Katsina State and was laid to rest in accordance with Islamic rites at a cemetery near the Police Headquarters in Katsina.
Prof. Maigari prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and grant her eternal rest in Jannatul Firdaus.
He also prayed that Allah gives the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He further conveyed the thoughts and prayers of the entire University community to Prof. Mu’azu and his family during this difficult time.
