Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), Kano proudly hosted the 2nd Meeting of the Forum of Vice Chancellors of Private Universities in Kano State, reaffirming its leadership role in the advancement of private higher education in the region.
The high-level meeting brought together Vice Chancellors and senior representatives of private universities across Kano to discuss key issues affecting private tertiary education, foster collaboration, and explore innovative strategies for enhancing academic quality and institutional sustainability.
Speaking at the session, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, President of MAAUN, emphasized the importance of collaboration among private universities to collectively tackle common challenges, promote academic excellence, and align with national development goals.
The forum serves as a platform for dialogue, policy alignment, and mutual support among member institutions – strengthening the voice and visibility of private universities in Kano State.
