Medical Laboratory Students of Maryam Abacha American University (MAAUN) have achieved a remarkable milestone by recording a 100% pass rate in their First Professional Examination results.
The President of the university, Prof (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, commended the students following the release of their examination results, which were conducted by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
Students in the Medical Laboratory Science program are required to take their first professional examination in the second semester of their 400 level.
Passing this exam is a prerequisite mandated by the MLSCN before they can proceed to their final examinations.
Prof. Israr stated that a total of 88 students sat for the examination, and all of them passed with high grades.
He further noted that the exam, supervised by Prof. Emeka Ofodeme, a representative of the MLSCN, was the first step before the students undertake their second and final professional examination in Level Five.
