Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) has appointed Balarabe Uba Abdullahi as the new Head of Creative Audiovisual Operations and Documentary.
The appointment was announced through an official letter issued by the university’s President, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, with the position taking effect immediately.
Prof. Israr emphasized the importance of professionalism and dedication, urging Abdullahi to perform his responsibilities diligently to help advance the university’s objectives.

In his new capacity, Abdullahi is expected to craft and implement a dynamic creative vision for the university’s audiovisual initiatives, focusing on innovative storytelling methods that cater to a broad range of audiences.
His responsibilities include managing the production of key content such as institutional films, social media campaigns, impactful research documentaries
