The Kano State Bureau of Statistics, led by Dr. Suraj Suleman, hosted a strategic stakeholders’ engagement meeting on Monday, November 3rd, 2025, at the Bureau’s conference room in Audu Bako Secretariat, Kano. The meeting focused on the upcoming statewide survey of tertiary institutions, aimed at building a reliable, up-to-date database to inform effective policy, planning, and development initiatives by the state government.
The session brought together key stakeholders including representatives from tertiary institutions, ministries, development partners, and data experts. Collectively, participants reviewed and refined the proposed data collection tools, which were unanimously adopted for the upcoming survey.
Dr. Suleman expressed appreciation for the constructive input and reaffirmed the Bureau’s commitment to data integrity, transparency, and usability. The meeting concluded with a shared roadmap for successful implementation of the survey, marking a major step forward in evidence-based governance and educational planning in Kano State.
