Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Karam Logistics on areas of shared interest.

The partnership is a significant step in the university’s plan to establish a robust distance learning programme for students across the globe.

The physical MoU was signed by representatives of the two organizations.

Speaking during the event, the President of MAAUN, Professor (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, echoed the importance of the partnership, noting that it aligns with the university’s vision of transforming education through innovation and inclusivity.

Prof. Israr further emphasized that students enrolled in the upcoming distance learning programmes will reap immense benefits from the collaboration.

In his remarks, the Chief Executive Officer of Karam Logistics, Mr. Adebayo Sulaiman, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, describing it as a timely and purposeful collaboration.

He reaffirmed his company’s commitment to ensuring the smooth implementation of the partnership.

Also speaking, Dr. Habib Awais Abubakar, Vice President Administration, described the agreement as a testament to the university’s forward-thinking approach.

Dr. Awais also expressed hope that the partnership would foster a lasting relationship between both organizations.

In her vote of thanks, the Assistant Head of the Career Guidance and Placement Unit, Mrs. Janvi Haresh, appreciated the joint efforts of both teams.

Prof. Israr signed the document on behalf of MAAUN while Mr. Adebayo Sulaiman signed on behalf of Karam Logistics.
