MAAUN Partners Kardan University on Academic, Scientific Cooperation

As part of efforts to link with other universities and organizations across the world, Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kardan University in Afghan (KUA) on academic and Scientific Cooperation to promote academic excellence.

The signing of the document which was made virtually on Tuesday was aimed at promoting academic excellence through the exchange of faculty professors, researchers, students, publications, academic programs and research projects, either virtually or physically.

Under the MoU, both universities will engage in the exchange of faculty members to offer courses in mutually agreed-upon areas of study.

Additionally, the collaboration will focus on joint research projects, the publication of research findings, and the enrollment of undergraduate and graduate students in relevant courses.

 

In his brief remarks shortly after the signing of the document, Prof.(Dr.) Mohammad Israr assured that the university would ensure full implementation of the MoU in order to achieve the desired objective.

Key officials present at the MoU signing ceremony included the Vice President Administration, Dr. Habib Awais Abubakar, Director, Institute of African Higher Education Research and Innovation (IAHERI), Prof Abubakar Sadiq and Head, International Office MAAUN, Engr. Bashir Garba.
