More than 17,000 Participants to attend MAAUN International workshop on Research Methodology, Scientific Writing

No fewer than 17,000 people have so far registered from 102 countries to attend a One-Day online International Workshop organized by Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN).

The workshop with the theme “Research Methodology And Scientific Writing” will be conducted virtually on Wednesday, February 19, 2025.

The registered participants are expected to join the online program from Europe, Asia, and African countries, including Algeria, Uganda, Togo, Egypt, Chad, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Mali and Niger Republic.

Others are United Kingdom, Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Armenia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Botswana, Brazil, Burkina, Burundi, Cameroon, Canada, China, Congo, Croatia, Cuba, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Ethiopia, Finland, France, Haiti, Hungary, Iceland, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Italy and Japan.

Participants are also expected to attend the program from Jordan, Kenya, Korea South, Kuwait, Lesotho, Liberia, Macedonia, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mali, Mauritania, Senegal, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Swaziland, Syria, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkey and Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, among others.

According to the President of the University, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, three distinguished speakers and respected expert in their respective fields, are expected to present papers.

The scholars are Prof. Nada Ratkovic, an Assistant Professor in the Department of Qualitative Methods at the Faculty of Economics, Business, and Tourism, University of Split, Croatia and Dr. Rakhee Chaudhary, Dean of Student Welfare and Dean of School of Basic and Applied Sciences Career Point University, India.

The other speaker is Dr. Muthmainnah S. Assistant Professor, Department of Indonesian Language Education, Teacher Training and Education Universitas Al Asyarian Mandar, Sulawesi Barat Indonesia.

While expressing gratitude to all registered participants and those who are yet to register for contributing to the success of this event, Prof. Israr said that after the workshop, an e- certificate will be given to all participants.
