Norrenberger Group Visits MAAUN, Seeks Financial Partnership Opportunities

Representatives from Norrenberger, a leading Nigerian Financial Services and Investment Firm, have paid a courtesy visit to Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria to discuss potential partnerships aimed at enhancing financial growth and sustainability.

The meeting centered on exploring ways to optimize revenue and strengthen institutional collaboration.

Speaking during the visit, Miss Amarachi Okafor, Regional Head, Norrenberger Asset Management, expressed her excitement about visiting the university.

She commended MAAUN for its remarkable development and modern infrastructure, describing the experience as “bigger than Kano.”

She noted that upon stepping into the university, she was impressed by the beauty and organization of the campus, particularly highlighting the Thomas Sankara Building, which caught her attention.

Miss Okafor emphasized that MAAUN has proven that great things can indeed come out of Kano, Nigeria.

She added that her company’s philosophy, “Money gives you wings,” reflects their commitment to helping institutions achieve greater financial freedom and success.

While describing the meeting as a wonderful opportunity, she expressed optimism that future collaborations between both organizations would yield the desired fruitful results.

In his remarks, the Acting President of MAAUN, Prof. Ahmad Ibrahim Maigari, lauded the team for the visit and appreciated their interest in partnering with the university.

He noted that the founder has a strong passion for education and financial innovation, stressing that as someone with deep knowledge in banking and finance, he values strategic collaborations that promote institutional growth and sustainability.

Prof. Maigari reiterated MAAUN’s commitment to fostering mutually beneficial partnerships with reputable organizations and expressed optimism about future engagements with the group.

The Vice President Administration, Dr. Habib Awais Abubakar who witnessed the meeting, expressed the readiness of the university to partner with the group–a promising step toward future collaboration between both institutions.
