Prof. Gwarzo appoints Dr. Mansur as West African Director for Global Health and Development at MAAUN

The Founder/Chairman Governing Council, Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), has appointed Dr. Mansur Muhammad Tukur as West African Director for Global Health and Development at Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria.

The notification of appointment was contained in a letter personally signed by the Founder of the University, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo and made available to newsmen in Kano on Friday.

“It is with great pleasure that I extend to you this letter of appointment as the West African Director for Global Health and Development in the Institute of African Higher Education Research and Innovation, Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria,” the letter said.

According to the letter, the appointment of Dr. Muhammad Tukur on the position was based on his extensive expertise and dedication to advancing healthcare and development.

“Your extensive expertise and dedication to advancing healthcare and development make you an ideal candidate for this pivotal role.

While congratulating the new appointee, Prof. Gwarzo expressed hope that his leadership and strategic vision will play a key role in advancing the Institute’s mission to foster innovation and research in African higher education.

He also expressed confidence that Dr. Muhammad Tukur’s wealth of experience will significantly contribute to the institute’s success.

“We believe that your wealth of experience will significantly contribute to the Institute’s success and we look forward to achieving new heights together,” Prof Gwarzo was quoted as saying in the letter.
