Prof. Gwarzo Condoles Gov Yusuf, Kano Emirate Over Death Of Galadiman Kano

The Founder and President of the MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Government and people of Kano State over the death of Galadiman Kano, Allah Abbas Sanusi Bayero, who died on Tuesday night at the age of 91.

Prof. Gwarzo in a statement he personally signed and released to newsmen in Kano on Wednesday, described the death of the elder statesman as a great loss not only to his immediate family but to the entire state and Nigeria at large.

Prof. Gwarzo also extended his deepest condolences to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Kano Emirate Council over the great loss.

“On behalf of the management of MAAUN Group of Universities, I extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Kano Emirate Council.

“The death of Galadiman Kano, our father, is a great loss not only to his immediate family, but to Kano state, and Nigeria at large in view of the significant role he played in the development of Kano Emirate, Kano State and the entire Northern region,” he said.

While praying to Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased, Prof. Gwarzo prayed that God would give his family, associates and the entire Kano Emirate the fortitude to bear the great loss.

“We pray to Allah to forgive his shortcomings and reward his good deeds with the highest level of Jannah. We also pray to Almighty Allah to comfort his family and give them the courage to bear the irreparable loss,” Prof. Gwarzo added.
