Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) has congratulated Prof. Idris Muhammad Bugaje on his recent reappointment for the second term as the Executive Secretary of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The congratulatory message is contained in a statement by the President MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, and released to journalists on Wednesday.
“On behalf of MAAUN Group of Universities, I wish to felicitate Prof. Bugaje on his reappointment for a second term of five years as the Executive Secretary of NBTE.
“No doubt, his reappointment is a clear indication that President Tinubu is satisfied with his performance, leadership and the significant transformation recorded in the technical and vocational education, and training sub-sector under his leadership,”Prof. Gwarzo said.
He described Prof. Bugaje as a distinguished scholar who is committed to promoting technical and vocational education in the country.
He expressed confidence in Prof. Bugaje’s ability to deliver on his mandate through the promotion of research and innovation for academic excellence.
While commending President Tinubu for the gesture, Prof. Gwarzo said the reappointment of Prof. Bugaje for a second term would consolidate the achievements he recorded in the board.
Prof. Gwarzo prayed Almighty Allah to guide and give the Executive Secretary the wisdom and strength to continue to steer the board to greater heights.
