Today, Thursday, the African Institute for Solutions and Development (AISD) Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), in collaboration with the African International Documentary Festival Foundation (AFIDFF), successfully mapped out key locations for the upcoming 2025 World Heritage Volunteers (WHV) Program, scheduled to take place from 7th to 17th September 2025
The identified heritage sites where the program activities will be held include:
1-Gidan Dan Hausa
2-Ancient City Wall – Sabuwa Kofa
3-Kofar Mata Dyeing Pit
4-Kurmi Market and
5-Dala Hills
These locations were carefully selected in preparation for the WHV 2025, highlighting Kano’s rich cultural heritage and historical significance.
