Students of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), on Tuesday captivated audience with three engaging activities held on the second day of their ongoing Students’ Week and Founder’s Day celebration at the Ibrahim Usman Yakasai Sports Complex.
The featured activities included an Old School Show, a Talent Show, and an English Drama performance along with Fine Art presentations.
The performances were designed to foster innovative thinking and enhance students’ communication skills, particularly in public speaking, while also building their confidence.
The drama segment provided students with a platform to narrate stories through action and dialogue, while entertaining the audience in a distinctive manner.
The Old School Show was a tribute to our forefathers, featuring amusing and exciting performances that delighted the cheering crowd.
Among the management staff of the University that were present during the presentations were the Founder of the University, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, President of the University, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr and Vice President Administration, Dr. Habib Awais Abubakar and the Dean of School of Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Ahmad Maigari Ibrahim.
Also present were Director, Academic Planning and Quality Assurance, Dr. Nura A. Yaro, Director, Institute of Africa Higher Education Research and Innovation (IAHERI), Prof Abubakar Haruna Sadiq and Vice President Campus Life, Dr. Hamza Garba, among others
