500 graduates of MAAUN-MARADI working in the US, Europe—Prof. Gwarzo

Maryam Abacha American University of Niger (MAAUN), Maradi has graduated no fewer than 500 students that are currently working with international agencies and organizations across the United States and Europe.

The President of the University, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, made the disclosure during the graduation dinner and award presentation of the class of 2022, School of Health Sciences held on Wednesday, 14th December, 2022

He said the students who performed very well in their various fields of study, have the opportunity of achieving their chosen career goals.

While expressing delight over their successful graduation, Prof. Gwarzo noted that the University having thoroughly subjected the students to the practical and applied learning of their chosen fields, would allow them to have a competitive edge in the workforce.

Prof. Gwarzo, who doubles as the President of Association of African Private Universities (AAPU), charged the graduands to continue to sustain the brand name of their alma-mater by exhibiting high sense of responsibility and professionalism wherever they find themselves.

Among those who attended the dinner include the President of Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, Prof. (Dr.) Mohammad Israr, Vice President Administration, Dr. Habib Awais Abubakar and Vice President Administration MAAUN-MARADI, Dr. Shu\’aibu Usman Tanko among others.

Highlights of the event include the presentation of an award to Prof. Gwarzo for his philanthropic and humanitarian services.
