History is about to be rewritten at the prestigious Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) as a determined student steps onto the global stage to chase a major Guinness World Record.

The student designer, Abdulkadir Basri, is officially gearing up for the Longest Sewing Marathon (Sew-a-Thon), aiming to operate a sewing machine continuously for an astounding 120 hours – five full days and nights – without sleep.

The global challenge is scheduled as follows:
