The founder of a London-based organization, Clear Solutions, Dr. Charlie Jeong, has lauded Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria for its firm determination to promote global health and development in Africa through the provision of universal access to education and supporting clinical research.
Dr. Jeong made the commendation when he paid a courtesy visit to the Founder of the university, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo on Thursday.
He expressed satisfaction with the university’s level of seriousness towards the promotion of global health and development in Africa and beyond.
Dr. Jeong also expressed his readiness to partner with MAAUN stressing that the vision of the organization aligned with that of the university.
In his remarks, Prof. Gwarzo expressed his appreciation for the visit, and extended hands of friendship and collaboration with the founder of Clear Solutions, Dr. Charlie Jeong to implement global health and development projects in Africa.
He noted that the decision to start the project would go a long way in saving the lives of children in their five years as a result of diseases using community distribution of ORS zinc in Kano.
Prof. Gwarzo pledged to contribute to this novel global health and development project and expressed his readiness to support training, procurement, and distribution among the Kano population.
