MAAUN Innovation Hub, a nurturing epicenter for innovative concepts, on Monday, hosted an intriguing workshop as part of the hub’s studio program aimed at equipping students with industrial experience and building talents in alignment with the digital economy master plan.
The Hub, which operates under the auspices of the Institute of Africa Higher Education Research and Innovation (IAHERI), Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria, is poised to provide adequate support to early-stage startups and creative projects.
The studio event, which unfolded at MAAUN Kano, was attended by students of the various faculties of the University, who engaged in conversations centred on creating awareness of career brand identity, graphics design, motion design and product design.
Speaking, the Coordinator, MAAUN Innovation Hub, Mr. Usman Fori, underscored the significance of innovation as a foundation of development, while encouraging the students to nurture their passion and creativity into fruition.
During the session, the invited guests who are renowned industry experts with records of excellence in their various fields, shared their experiences with the students and tasked them to make the best use of their abilities in order to transform their dreams into thriving ventures.
The panel discussion, which opened endless doors to students to develop and harness their skills, aligned with the vision of the MAAUN Hub which is to be a dynamic force that ignites innovation, propels entrepreneurship, and fosters collaborative solutions that shape a brighter future for Africa and beyond.
The grand event also explored other areas such as power of collaboration, storytelling across various platforms, as well as the intersection between product design, motion design, graphic design, and brand identity design.
Invited guests who graced the occasion include Mr. Ibrahim Khalil Bala, Motion Graphic Designer and Video Editor, Fauziyya Mohammad, UI Designer , Abdulsamad Ibrahim, Visual Artist and Idris Safwan, Graphics Designer Rezolutte.
