The President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, graced the wedding ceremony of a dedicated staff member, Dr. Murtala Musa, held in the Kinkinau area of Tudunwada, Kaduna State.
The President was accompanied by several esteemed dignitaries, including President Prof.(Dr.) Mohammad Israr of MAAUN Kano, Vice Chancellor of Franco British International University, Prof. Mohammad Sabo, and Rector of Federal Polytechnic Kabo, Professor Mohammad Magaji Rano.
The marriage ceremony, which took place on Saturday, 27th July 2024, was solemnized in the presence of several notable figures, including Vice President Administration, Dr. Habib Awais Abubakar; Vice President MAAUN Maradi, Dr. Shuaibu Tanko; Director of the Institute of Africa Higher Education Research and Innovation, Prof. Abubakar Sadiq; Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Nura Yaro; and Director of the Founder’s Office, Dr. Aliyu Mirnga, Vice President Campus Life, Dr. Hamza Garba, among others.
The groom, who served as the pioneer Examination Controller of MAAUN Niger, officially tied the knot with his heartthrob, Pharm. Ummulkhairi Sani Ibrahim, in a grand ceremony that celebrated their union amidst a gathering of esteemed colleagues and friends.
The wedding of Dr. Murtala Musa was transformed into a truly unforgettable celebration by Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo’s presence.
His presence, kind donations as well as his thoughtful remarks infused the event with an atmosphere of love, joy, and hope, as he delivered inspiring speeches that resonated deeply with the couple, their friends and family members that graced the occasion.
After the wedding, Prof. Gwarzo also used the opportunity to visit his newly established Franco British International University, Kaduna, where he inspected students hostels currently under construction.
The inspection visit by Prof. Gwarzo not only signified his commitment to the development of the university and education sector at large but a clear indication of his dedication to ensuring that the facilities put in place meet the needs of prospective students.
